Butterscotch Popcorn
The other night I was CRAVING something sweet, but I really don't keep a lot of sweet things in the house. So I threw together some ingredients I had and I was in sugar heaven!!! "A" couldn't stay out of it either.
Ingredients:
- 1 bag microwave kettle corn popcorn
- 1 cup butterscotch morsels (found with the chocolate chips in the baking aisle)
- 2 Tbsp butter
1) Pop the popcorn according to the directions (pour into a bowl and try to remove as many unpopped kernels as you can)
2) Pour morsels into a microwave safe bowl and add the butter. Microwave for about 1 minute (stirring every 30 seconds).
3) Pour butterscotch onto popcorn and mix evenly.
4) Enjoy!!!

White Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Mix
So I made the best trail mix EVER the other day. I've decided that I can never make it again because it's just too addicting and doesn't help my goal of getting into a bikini this summer. But it is SOOOOOO good! Here's how to make it:
Ingredients:
1/4 lb white chocolate (I got the block with worked really well)
2 cups Reese's Cereal
2 cups Golden Graham Cereals
1 cup pretzels (I used the Gold Fish pretzels)
1 cup peanuts
2 Tbs creamy peanut butter
3 Tbs butter
1/4 cup powdered sugar
- Stir the cereal, peanuts, and pretzels in a large bowl.
- Chop the chocolate into small pieces
- Microwave peanut butter, butter, and white chocolate for less than a minute. Make sure you stop and stir it every 20 or so seconds. (Remember to use a microwave safe bowl).
- Stir the chocolate/peanut butter into the cereal and stir until it is evenly coated.
- Dump the mixture into a gallon ziploc bag and pour in the powdered sugar and shake!

Strawberry-Cherry Soda
Here's a simple favorite for me this summer. My sister and I used to order Diet Coke with strawberries from Sonic, and so I thought, why not make it at home.? Simply wash and cut strawberries and add them to a glass of Coke Zero. In the picture I used Coke Zero Cherry (to be honest, I was too lazy to walk to the garage and get a regular Coke Zero) and it actually turned out pretty yummy. Enjoy!

Sparkling Wine Cooler (for adults)
I made this perfect and refreshing drink for a very hot day last week. It was super easy and super yummy! Unfortunately "A" couldn't enjoy it with us, but I think his sippy cup of milk was just as good. :)
Here's how to make this delicious and refreshing treat.
Ingredients:
- 1 can of concentrated pink lemonaid (slightly defrosted so it's slushy)
- 1 bottle of any white wine
- 6 cans (approx) of Sprite or Gingerale (or you can use 1 liter of sprite)
- Strawberries, pineapple (or any other fruit you think would be a good additon)
I mixed the lemon-aid, wine, and gingerale and split them into two pitchers (and saved on for later). Then I squished some strawberries and pineapple and tossed them into the pitchers. Finally, serve on a hot day (or any day you may need a little glass of sparkling, fruity wine). If you want to make it extra special, garnish the glass with a slice of strawberry or pineapple. Enjoy!

Popcorn Cake
This is hands down the tastiest and easiest dessert that I've taken to a party. I added skittles to make it even sweeter.
4 quarts popped popcorn
½ cup M & M's
1 cup chopped nuts
1-½ lbs. mini marshmallows
¼ cup vegetable oil
½cup butter
Combine popcorn, M & M’s, and nuts in large bowl; mix well.
In saucepan, combine marshmallows, oil, and butter. Cook until marshmallows and butter are melted, stirring constantly.
Pour over popcorn mixture and mix well. Pat into greased Bundt pan. Turn upside down onto plate until cake releases.I found this delicious recipe at: http://www.keyingredient.com/recipes/7345061/popcorn-cake/
